    Hello All,

Sorry for what may seem a stupid question, but I have been looking around and cannot really figure out all this HD (720 & 1080) DVD.

Basically I was wondering if there was any way to watch a 1080 or 720 DVD on a normal DVD player (or using a laptop but projecting the image using an infocus 5700)? If so, how would you go about burning such a DVD?

    Many thanks :lease:

A normal DVD player won't do it. Only if the signals were encoded in WMVHD (bloody Microsoft) and you had the new KISS player with WMVHD capability, you would succeed.

But probably this wasn't what you were looking for

The European Community is eager to standardize the sizes of apples and oranges but doesn't care for a European HD TV standard !!
