If you were upgrading from a 100x5R to a 250x2/3R TMA gave an allowance on the return of each unused module from the upgrade.

I have no idea on what IAG do these days.

Yep, I remember you and Barry telling me you used them as door-stops when I was trying to buy some s/hand to fill the slots in my old 100x5R/3 once Mark :rotfl:

Probably got put into a couple of chassis at the end of the TMA days no doubt, as they surely wouldn't have been thrown away.....

Expensive (& heavy!) footballs...... :D

As usual, i doubt we'll ever find out as no-one has broken cover from IAG yet on the serious subjects, so i doubt if they will do.

I wonder how many people update the amps from 100x5 to 250x3 anyway

Please excuse my ignorance, but are are you guys saying the 100x5r is upgradable? If so, please could some knowledgable chap divulge what the options were/are.

Also, I remember reading a review of the 100x5:10 a while back but have not heard many references to it here, out of interest why is that?

Thanks

M.E.

if you had a 100x5 you could change the 5 modules or some of them from 150watts to

2x 80watts stereo for £695 with a part ex of £175 for the old 150watt mono module

or

1x250watt mono module but price on application

the 100x5r:10 cost

£4720 with 10 modules of 80 watts

or

£3685 with 3 x 150watts and 4 x 80watts

and if you update there is a fitment charge of £95

So my original question was what would be the deals to purchase some of the older part exchanged 150watt units.

But it seems that ex Tag employees had a strange sense of humour :smashin:

Are you seriously contemplating removing their only source of lunchtime entertainment or do you want them to beg "can we have our ball back mister". :rotfl: :rotfl:

my foots still sore...

Seriously (if ever I can be) the modules were simply remanufactured into staff sale, loan units and demonstration units. All pretty dull.
