Is this important? Is it worth the money?
Only if you are susceptible to 50 hz flicker (refresh rate)
Some 100 hz sets tend to have digital artifacts though, but the pictures are rock solid.......!

Back on the 100hz topic. Do a search on the forum as it is an FAQ. There will be loads of posts for you to read.
However, i will just say, take a look for yourself at a 50hz and 100hz from your usual sitting distance and make your own mind up.
