Could somebody tell me why 100hz tv picture looks poo when games consoles are plugged into them.
hmmm i dont know why you get that, mine looks sweet as ever with games on 100hz
i tend to find side scrolling-text on tv seems to be a bit blurry, but thats about it
Firstly, what tv do you have?
Has it been properly set up and brightness, contrast and colour adjusted?
what games consolls are you using?
How are thay connected?
Give us a few more details, IN your opinon what is it about the picture that makes it look "poo"?
Using an xbox using RGB,do not know the model its my brother tv it is a 1yr old philips 32" costing about £1300,I have messed around with the options but to no joy improving the picture, have also used my xbox on a 3yr old jvc 32" 100HZ and that looks naff as well!
Not sure, that's a bit odd. I know 100 htz TV's show up poor signal quality more than 50 htz ones (i.e. some low bitrate digital TV signals) but that shouldn't be a problem through a console RGB lead.
I have a Gamecube connected to my 100 htz Sony 32" TV at the moment and the picture is superb. I also have a few other consoles (PS2, DC, Saturn & Megadrive) attached to my 50 htz Sony 29" TV and get a great picture through that as well.
The only things I can think of are to double check that your lead is RGB and that it is connected to RGB Scart on your TV (not A/V Scart).
