While I doubt that someone from the site came here just to post that, who cares anyway? It's still a good offer, and we're the ones who benefit from it.

I agree we're the ones who benefit. But I have to agree with Hughesy that it does seem strange that this person has joined this month, made one post about a specific promotion, and then posted nothing else ?!? I think the line "Free delivery and over 22,000 DVDS" is very suspicious as well.

There's no harm in it as I personally feel spam is only bad if it is not relevant to the MAJORITY of it's recipients, and quite frankly Filmnight has occasionally been the cheapest for some dvd's and an extra 10% can always help :smashin: (as Marc has proved)

My point is it would be nice for Anyanka to come on out and admit s/he works for Filmnight so that anyone who has a particular question regarding the company and their products, etc. can pose the question to her/him personally. This can't be a bad thing.

After all we already have a movietyme representative on this forum. (Hi Craig :hiya: ).

I had alook around the site and then only thing I found that interested me was the Blackadder Boxset for just over £43 but now that 101CD are doing it for £39.99 I have cancelled my pre-order with Filmnight, good offer though.

Doubt that will ever happen as the current 4 Disc Boxset has never dropped in price and this new 6 Disc release is ment to be Limited Edition, I would snap it up for it dissapears or goes back up in price.

LOL I wish, just thought that because its listed as 'Limited Edition' it might be worth picking it up while you can as the last item I got which was advertised as a 'Limited Edition' was the Jaws 30th Anniversary Collectors Edition and even though it was released less than a month ago its almost impossible to find anywhere.

Personally, my experience of limited editions is that they are never so 'limited' and the price keeps falling until everyone has bought it. I must admit though that you are right about the 4 disc set price though. I've been waiting for that to drop in price for ages. Lucky I didn't buy it as this set looks far better.

True limited editions are the ones you only read about after the event. Anything openly on sale and in stock when you happen to be perusing is as Party says...PJ

I agree, the photo looked like it was going to be a nice leather effect box, like the Indiana Jones (heh heh) box set, but it's only a flimsy cardboard box affair.

Still if it drops below £30 they'll get my order.
