:lease: Hi there, after some advice, have always had good audiophile set up. (Currently Arcam 72 CD Audiolab 8000A amp Mission 777 speakers) Extension allows me to go for proper AV system in seperate room (5X3 meters), but budget tight at moment.

Current AV is via a Philips LX 3000 D which came in telly package with rather poor speakers.

Question, can I begin upgrade using the Philips DVD as a source, or is it not up to job?

Have seen KEF KHD 2005 speaker package for £300 and wondered if this would be a sensible start, adding a seperate AV amp (suggestions) next and a better DVD last?? Or do I have to bite the bullet all in 1 go to get any real benefit?
    Advice much appreciated.
