7 day shop are rubbish imo, I ordered an Ixus 500 from them around 2 years ago and they hide the fact you need to pay duty on these things

7dayshop are brilliant and I use them all the time. The website CLEARLY tells you about duty :lesson:

I've got a Viking Sd card and it appears to work perfectly in my Z2.

By bizarre coincidence my father has just called me complaining about his Viking SD card obtained from 7dayshop, which has failed after less than 4 months of use. That said, I'm pretty sure it's under warranty so he's going to contact them to see what they say.

yes i've read some bad reviews on them at the amazon website (i think) it does seem very cheap for a 1gig card, maybe it's just a case of you get what you pay for. :(

Saying that they are down in the 20s of Amazon.co.uk now. The Viking cards are fine. I use the 1Gb ones all the time in my IXUS 750.

AVforums doesn't do that well in their ratings either apparently, not worth the paper it's printed on to be honest

I've got two Viking 1GB SD cards (bought from ebuyer) that I use in my D50 - I've never had any problems with them and write speed is also fine (I bought two as they were so cheap in case one did fail, but no problems at all so far).

Incidentally, although they are badged 'Viking' the cards I have are actually manufactured by Toshiba. Not sure whether this would always be the case (don't know whether Viking just buy job lots from whatever manufacturer happens to be offering the best price at the time, then re-sticker them), but the cheap price doesn't necessarily mean poor quality.
