do you think the 007 series will be re-released soon?I'm sure i heard this somewhere,i want to get an uncut version of goldeneye as i have been told the r2 is cut,i have the original release from when dvd was first launched, the ones with the clear plastic covers, remember, this is supposed to be cut by some 20 seconds? Is it worth while getting the r1 or waiting for a new release?

Is the plan to release these transfers on HD-DVD and/or Blu-Ray, rather than current DVD format?

I've heard they are transferring the films to HD-DVD but I think it will be a number of years before the public gets their hands on them versions!

as long as they are released like die another day with a superb DTS soundtrack I'll be happy

If Sony win the battle to buy MGM expect to see High definition versions on Blu Ray in 2006 as they intend to release the players in America during 2005 and they have already stated they have 1500 Columbia titles which can be released in HD.
