Tesla have just annouced their proper sports car the Roadster 2, same price as a 911 Turbo S.

Oh they also confirmed they are building an EV truck with a range of 450miles at highway speeds.

Combustion cars are looking more pointless by the second....

Sigh....this was such a great post, actually made me sit up in bed to read it properly and then you had to spoil it with your last sentence.

Not all combustion cars cost as much to buy as your 911 Turbo S comparison, thus ‘completely pointless’ is ridiculous and at the very least needed a winking smiley.

    Wrong forum, too.

    Available in 2020...riiiiiight.

I notice Tesla has not released any dimensions, presumably it's very large in order to get all the batteries in.

I was captured by the thread title, thinking it was about a recently released sports car.

Unfortunately I've been sucked in by a common sales/advertising technique and found computer-enhanced pictures and some bullet points of an EV allegedly being released in 2020.

This is nothing more than barefaced advertising.

Let's face it, they can't even get the model 3 right, rumour has it they haven't yet built 500 since July! They may well be bankrupt long before 2020.
