£800 budget for a Projector...which one?

My mate is looking for a projector, budget of around £800. Room throw is about 4m.

Any suggestions?

No possible chance of a 1080 projector at that price though?

Possibly second hand, otherwise 1080p projectors start at around the £1,000 mark, as far as I am aware;)
