    Hi Guys,

I have a budget of around £800 for a new TV, but haven't a clue what to look at any ideas? Looking for a 32" BTW.

    Cheers

    Hello mate.

You may just be able to get hold of a Toshiba 42WH36 for that money - ish.

    I've been looking around too.

I only say rptv as that range is very, very good value for money. Type in WH36 into the search feature and see one or two write ups about the range. Excellent pictures for good money. :)

    Taz,

I have a Sony 32FX68 being delivered tomorrow, so I can let you know then ;). £799 from John Lewis Welwyn, they have a price match going on.

Sony KD32DX50 integrated freeview tv is £709 incl delivery. John Lewis will price match Electocentre (aka Digital Point) so you get the 5 year and offer you a Sony dvd player and vcr for another £90. This is a 50Hz. If you want 100Hz, Sony FX68 fits the bill but it's analogue only.

Sorry to hi-jack this thread but where have you seen the above for around £800, as I'm just about to buy one for about £1k.

I'm very happy with my Sony 32FX68. Bought it from John Lewis, Nottingham last week. They have it in-store for £899 but price matched Total Digital (Birmingham) at £735.

I guess you're sorted now but I have had my Sony 32Fx68 for 5 days and it is awesome ... very easy to install, easy to use, great picture (blacks are amazingly black!) and very good sound. Cost shade under 600 including delivery from digital-point.co.uk They messed up on delivery (I said NOT Thursday or Friday in both my order and over phone when they called to confirm ... then I got call on Thursday saying they were waiting outside to deliver!!!!! I was 120 miles away, but we managed to sort it and delivery guy very friendly and helpful ... hung around 'til a neighbour came home who took it in). All in I was very pleased with price and speed and would order from them again.
