    Hi All

Me and the girlfriend have around £600 to £700 to spend on a tv that I also want to use as a media centre/internet browsing with our pc and I'm assuming that we will need 1080p as I don't particularly want to be browsing the internet on a monitor with 1366 x 720 resolution! Can anyone suggest a good looking panel (I like the LG6000/7000 and Phillips Ambilight monitors), also is 100Hz a must for pc games playing? I'm new to this HDTV game, so any help would be most appreciated, cheers.

I tried and all it did was change the internal title. I've never used this messageboard before, but it seems to work differently from others I have used...?

Hi, thanks a lot for the replies, some good tvs there by the look of it. Had a look at all those tvs, my issue with the plasmas is the lower resolution as I want to use this tv as a pc monitor. Also is 100Hz of any importance? I currently use a Samsung SyncMaster 2232BW for my PC btw but want something larger to watch films and anime through?

I have deleted your other post and corrected the thread title for you, for future reference, if you want a thread title changing report the post or pm a moderator and ask for it to be changed rather than starting another thread.
