when mine arrived from CD WOW two or three months ago at about this price; it wasn't quite the UK version, no BBFC certifcation etc

Not particularily bothered any more about the packaging as I have been waiting to see if Warners were going to finally release a version that matches my cardboard versions of HP 1 & 2 but I doubt this'll ever happen now. What complete jrks they are.

Although R2, do you have any idea where yours was produced for (ie, list of subtitles, feature list, running time, any clues?)?

I think it could be east European as looking at it now it has the Region 2 and Region 5 logos on the back (as do the discs themselves); Z19 28445 catalogue number on spine and just on top of barcode at back; no origin of manufacture stated; languages: English, French; subtitles: English, French, Arabic; other extra features, running time seem the standard 2-disc features, and there isn't poor English (unlike the Estonian Eternal Sunshine of the... :) ). The reproduction of the cover doesn't appear the best quality at the back, but isn't too bad. The leaflet inside looks fine, and seems generic for all regions.

:smashin: Thanks Krish,

I've looked at dvdcompare.net:

http://www.dvdcompare.net/comparisons/film.php?fid=6420

And I'm still none the wiser. The nearest to what you describe is either the UK R2 or the Australian R4. They are both coded R2/R4/R5 and both have Arabic, English and English HoH subtitles but no French subtitles.

Dvd compare did prove that the 5 different versions they had were all identical though, so therefore I'm still not bothered where it comes from (as long as it's not pirated).

I have the one from CD-WOW and it looks Japanese (R2)... looks okay next to the cardboard ones (I am annoyed as well) but missing the certificate rating!

I had an ER S4 boxet a whie back that had R2/R5 also.

No BBFC mark on it but otherwise couldn't see much wrong with it.

 Arrived today, yes it looks the same as UK one (minus the extra merchandise leaflet - big deal) but it doesn't have the PG certification on it.

Looks odd next to my other two cardboard ones. C'est la vie
