Hi all, I have been quoted £550 by mulimedia installations for 2 plasma wall mounts as follows:

1x 50" in lounge with hidden cables plus a little plastering (old fireplace)

1x 32" in bedroom with hidden cables but not dug in to the plasterboard (i.e white plastic tubing running on the wall), they are also fitting new ariel point to the bedroom.

All wall mounts are included in the price...

Do you guys think this is a fair price? is there an alternative in the middlesbrough area?

Thanks in advance for any replies...

You dont need to be a diy freak :D its very basic work. A level, pencil, tape measure, drill, hammer, bolster and fixings and a couple of hours maximum.
I have put 3 up in my house each one took less than 1 hour, and thats with hiding the cables and filling.

    John.
