Hi, I'm a newbie and this is my first post.

I have a £500 John Lewis e-gift (printed) - given as a wedding gift.
To be used in-store only as wife has covered the pin number with permanent marker.

Happy to send card first to someone who has a good rating.

Cheers,
JD Waterman

Ok, I’m closing this now as following my initial instincts I am sure this is a duplicate registration.

You bought it today for £500.00 from JL on a credit card and immediately defaced the PIN section, thus the only way to for the value on the card to be correctly identified is to go into store and check once the buyer has this in possession.

This isn’t very smart, never mind your account triggered off so many alarms my ears are ringing. I’m sure that this is a cheaper way of freeing up cash than withdrawing it from your credit card but for more than one valid reason this and other accounts sales threads remain closed.
