£400 to spend, which 5.1 setup

Sorry , been asked a million times before but I'm not very clued up on surround sound speaker setups.

A bit of browsing here brings up the same names:-

Q Acoustic
Acoustic Energy
Morduant Short
Quad
Kef (Don't really like the look of the 2005's though)
Canton (seems like a great bargain how do they hold up to the above makes in that price bracket?)

They'll be accompanying an Onkyo 605/606 in a 22 x 14 ft living room

You can get the Lites for 445 from HiFi suppliers at the mo. Only in rosewood but it's a bragain.

A great deal although white is not my kinda thing.

The AE's were in the running with my set up but i just leaned towards a more traditional look and the 'reputation' of the Quads sub .

I've only just bought mine and shopped around, £599.00 was the best I got although they are black.

Superb sounding speaker set-up, you will be chuffed with them.

Thanks man, deal was to good to turn down and I personally really like the white, really looking forward to setting them up now!

Regards to setting them up I'm most likely to have the back two on stands just wondering if you have and if so what stands you bought?
