He should be getting an MRI scan - not £3m.

Though it is tempting to joke about such problems,post-traumatic frontal lobe disinhibition syndromes have been known about for over a century.I don't think I would want to suffer such an injury for £30 million, let alone £3 million. This injury will destroy the poor man's life and, personally,I don't think any amount of money can compensate him.I suppose you could argue why give him anything, but he is going to need long term care and this will not be cheap!

I'd like to know how they proved that the fall caused his cheating... What if the guy was simply a cheater ? I mean what's to stop the next guy from pretending exactly the same thing?

I think they were comparing his actions to how he was before the fall. According to the article he changed completely, leading them to believe it was solely due to the injury. Although I had a giggle at the comment made at the end of the article in all seriousness if the injury had this effect AND it was due to negligence on behalf of the company sued then I think he probably has the right to expect some sort of compensation.

I have to admit though that there are times when I'm annoyed by the general perception that we can sue for absolutely anything nowadays. We all pay for it in the end, the money doesn't come from a magic money tree

If he spends the entire £3m on high class hookers over the next few years, I'll believe he had a case.

Yep, the guy has suffered a serious injury that has resulted in a long term personality/behavioural disorder (i.e. the disinhibitions) that requires lifelong therapy for his own recovery and personal safety (and possibly the safety of others) ... Unfortunately the reporting of this case has been skewed in order to sensationalise the sexual aspects of this news item rather than the unfortunate industrial injury suffered.

I would also not be surpised if he suffers from seizures ... something that the media might have neglected to mention in favour of the salacious content.
