£3000 to spend, what would you buy?

    Looking at spending around £3000 on a screen and speaker set up, looks like either pioneer screen or maybe panasonic (prices of panasonic very tempting though not Hd ready so gotta decide if I really need this), no idea on what speakers to buy, whats good etc. Also if anyone can recommend someone in the essex area who could install this for me that would be good to.

    Any suggestions gratefully received.

    There are a couple of highly regarded ones in Kent who could look after you. One is Progressive and the other is AV Sales.

    the panny PV5000 HD ready plasma is due soon (JUNE) so dont disregard this as an option......will fit into budget and leave enough for a decent 5.1 system
