In the South East, I can't find anymuch places to audition projectors. Consequently, I don't want to spend much! So bring 'em on. I'm a hifi and video purist that is way too picky to impose a price ceiling, but I know what I really want is beyond my reach at the moment, better to buy cheap and replace then.

Any suggestions? (Must be good :) )

For £2k try a Sanyo PLV-30, or ask Jeff to see where he got his £1775 DLP from.

At £1299 the sony Vpl-CX1, from PC World, is a steal, and works fine for me. But that deal may have ended.

I'm sorry, I have to say if it was me a Second Hand CRT would be the answer!

    I paid £1600 for a low hour Sony 1271QM

    If you need a LCD/DLP I can't help you.
