    Hi all,

Can anyone recomend a good mini hi fi for around the £200 mark?

Ideally would like a mulit change cd on it and a tuner, but thats all really - oh and the wife says "it must look nice".

    I really do despair!

    TIA gang!

If you can stretch to £250 the Denon DM31 is a little gem. I just convinced my parents to buy one - it looks the part and sounds superb.

if you want good sound quality (and who doesn't..?) - check out richersounds, then can do a proper seperates system for that kind of cash..tho, it won't have a multiplayer cd tho

The panasonic Geoggy can play mp3's and has a 5multi disc, that means potentally 5x11albums. It looks quite ok for a micro system that has all the features you want. Other competitors with multidisc and mp3 in this price bracket doesn't look that nice.

Quite a few retailers have it in stock for between £160-£167.

Panasonic in general has a quite decent sound in the micro system market.

    thanks for the help guys.

im not sure what an mp3 playing dvd actually is (sorry - must be a sign of old age) - i just want a smart looking small system to sit in the corner of the kitchen and belt out decent quality tunes with multi disc capability.

For the money i think thes is the one i'll go for.

    Cheers
