Got a mate who has £1500 to spend on projector and screen.

Ideally would like electric screen of about 5-6 foot. He has narrowed choice down to:

Sanyo PLV_Z1 (offer price 1499.99 with electric owl screen)
Epson-TW10 (with manual five foot screen £928.25)
    Sony VPL-HS2 £1174.95 (no screen)

Are there any horror stories with any of these machines? Is there one to avoid etc.

    Any help much appreciated.

    :)

Z1 is the best of that three (& buy quite a margin).

Try Nexnix. They've got the Z1 at a good price & some excellently priced electric screens.

Sharp Z91 + manual screen special £1575+ vat but well worth stretching the budget IMO - the Sharp is one fine DLP PJ.

    Thanks Kramer,

I think he will go for the sanyo and the smaller 6 foot diaganol screen for total cost of £1320 ish quid.

    Bargain me thinks.

Do you know if Nexnix a relaible/ decent company?
