£1000 to spend on an LCD

    Folks....just returned my sagem 26 lcd - picture had green tinging in black scenes...apparenlty an issue sagem are aware of !

    anyway I am now looking to get a new one - thought about the -

    samsung le26-r41d or the sony kdl-s26a12u


    which would you recommend ....or do you have another choice ???????

    nb * please rememebr certain reviews gave the sagem 10/10 ...and it was anything but ! So I;d rather trust you guys :O)

    Sony probably more than the Samsung, but then you could throw in the JVC DS6 and Sharp GA6 for same money and it'd be between those 2. Sony V series may give those a run for their money, if not better them, but I've not had a chance to play with one yet.

    go for the sony, i owned both models and i can say there is alot of difference between the two.

    Sony offfers better colour tone, better response time and better image quality from scart connection and xbox.
