£1000 to £2000 to send on a projectors any toughts

    ok guy as above will be useing it for my xbox pc dvds games etc etc waht is the image like on this now and want would be the best for the money thinkng about the ae 700 or the new sony h50

    the hs50 has a better spec on paper, but no ones seen it yet...might be better to wait a month or so for the z3, hs50 and panny

    I suppose it really depends how much you want to spend. If it really is anything up to £2k then the HS50 is definitely worth waiting for. However if you are not hugely fussed about getting the best best picture then saving a bit on the AE700 is possibly a good idea. There is definitely (according to the specs) a difference on paper but it depends how much you really want to spend.

    HS50 hasn't reached the market yet, should be around the end of this month. On the basis of reports of pre-production viewings, reckon it will be worth waiting to see..............

    Also worth considering is the Mitsubishi HC900 and the Optoma H57, both new models and selling for sub £2000.
