Sky is to launch the cheapest streaming stick in the business with the £14.99 NOW TV Smart Stick which is powered by Roku technology. Sky also announced its plans to introduce downloads to the surface and promised 1080p streaming (at last) for later in the year.

Just when we were beginning to think Roku had abandoned the UK market, they announce two new streamers. A budget £30 mini-box and a 4K HDR capable streaming stick.
Roku has announced it's latest streaming box for the US market. It features 4K capability at up to 60 frames per second and access to more Ultra HD material than all of the competition.
Roku's new little streaming stick is certainly a competitor to Chromecast but it does distinguish itself with further-reaching app support and a proper remote control.
