The JVC NZ7 is a relatively new native 4K D-ILA projector featuring a BLU-Escent laser diode, a claimed 2,200 lumens brightness with 40,000:1 contrast ratio, plus 48Gbps 8K60p / 4K120p compatible HDMI inputs. There's HDR10+ HDR along with the existing 'Frame Adapt HDR' feature with claims to cover 93% of the DCI-P3 wide colour gamut.
JVC adds Filmmaker Mode to latest D-ILA projector firmware

JVC is celebrating 25 years of the D-ILA technology found in its projectors with a limited edition model but of more interest to home cinema fans is that the company’s latest firmware will introduce Filmmaker Mode to some of its latest projector models.
Certain TV brands have advantages over others in specific areas: e.g. LG TVs have plenty of gamer-friendly features and Panasonics lean towards creators' intent for movies but which manufacturer gives the best upscaling results for reality, soaps and news viewing? Why does the cost of native 4K projectors remain high?

A very important consideration when researching a home cinema projector is what size of image you will get from the distance you place the projector away from the screen as the specs can be confusing. This year's IFA saw more OLED TVs from Philips, Panasonic, Sony, B&O and Toshiba, along with QLED models from Philips, Hisense and Sharp, as well as new projectors from Sony, JVC and Optoma.
