Winner of five 1999 Hong Kong Movie Awards, Beast Cops is a compelling police thriller, it centres on the exploits of a pair of street cops whose beat covers an area run by the Triads, and who often find themselves stepping over the line into criminal activities. As we've come to expect from Hong Kong Legends, the disc itself is fantastic with a healthy range of extras including: a photo gallery, trailers, interviews and an audio commentary featuring HKL DVD regular Bey Logan and director Gordon Chan. The transfer standard is up there with the company's best, it boasts a pristine image and very active 5.1 Cantonese and English dub audio options.
