Win A Date With Tad Hamilton DVD Review

Picture

Picture quality offers no reason for complaint; black levels are good and deep with colours being wholesomely accurate and no visible artefacts to mention. Pretty standard stuff.

Sound

A decent quality soundtrack that makes the occasional use of rear effects channels but concentrates more on front soundstage pans and sudden overuse of LFE (probably to wake you up if you have fallen asleep watching this movie!).

Extras

Not much here of note. The deleted scenes belong in the deleted scenes section of this disc and I won't even bother discussing the gallery. The 8 minute gag reel is worth a chuckle though!
Win A Date With Tad Hamilton
Putting aside my bias against teen romantic comedy movies, this flick is distinctly average at best giving nothing new to the genre nor using many gags that haven't been used before. It is cleanly put together mind so the director doesn't earn any substantial criticism for his work, but otherwise the movie is cliché, unoriginal and not particularly romantic or comedic! I hadn't heard of this movie until now and I will probably forget about again just as quickly.
