Soldier Blue DVD Review
SRP: £12.99

Picture

Picture is the original 2.35:1
anamorphic, not particularly sharp, but colourful and not noticeably afflicted with
print damage or any digital artefacts.

Sound

Sound is a choice of English,
Dutch, Spanish, or Italian, but whichever
you choose it's in mono, perfectly
acceptable but devoid of any excitement.

Extras

A trailer, and subtitles in
German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese
and Dutch are all you get. Not that we
were expecting anything much in the
way of extras, but if we weren't going
to get the uncut version of the movie,
would it have been too much trouble
to supply English subtitles?A pretty half-hearted presentation for a film
which, if not perfect, is at least historically
interesting.
