Simpsons, The: Simpsons Against The World DVD Review
SRP: £12.99

Picture

Newer episodes exhibit some better animation but DVD is limited by the original quality of the material (that dates back as far as 1990). Expect grainy older episodes, although Bart Vs Australia shines out as better with bolder, stronger colour and tighter animation technique.

Sound

I picked out Bart Vs Australia as having a more involving Dolby Surround effects. All episodes have good quality recordings but make little use of more than the odd panning effect and off screen gag coming out of one speaker only.

Extras

Extras are limited to just two original trailers for Simpsons DVDs.

Practically no extras or remastering of soundtrack, but four very funny episodes nonetheless!!
