Picture

The anamorphic 1.85:1 transfer looks very good and is clean and clear from print damage or dirt. The image is sharp with good detail visible and there are no signs of grain present. Colours look well saturated with solid blacks and no signs of bloom or bleed. Edge enhancement is seen in a few bright scenes but is not intrusive. An above average image.

Sound

The Dolby Digital soundtrack is surprisingly dynamic and engaging. Surrounds are used to great effect to create an aggressive sound mix at times with good LFE use. Dialogue is crisp and clear and the various music used in the score helps create an enveloping sound field, again above average.

Extras

Director David Zucker, writers Pat Proft and Craig Mazin and producer Robert Weiss provide a very funny audio commentary track where they spend the majority of the time ripping to pieces there own film. Next is a making the alternate ending which covers the special effects and design aspects of the ending which is included as a deleted scene later on the disc. There are two Making of featurettes which are made for DVD and are above average promotional films. Moving on we have 10 deleted scenes with commentary and a selection of out takes
Scary Movie 3
Scary Movie 3 is good fun with strong gags and imaginative parodies, extras and DVD presentation are good although I don't know if it would stand up to repeated viewing.
