Nas: Video Anthology Volume 1 Movie Review

Hop to

Hip Hop star Nas has long since established himself as arguably one of the best MC's ever to grab the mic. Often referred to as a poet, his lyrics have influenced a generation of Hip Hop artists. In putting images to his words, Nas has created one of the most astonishing video libraries of any hip hop artist. These videos have been compiled together for the first time and released as this DVD.

Nas's success sparked a rap renaissance in the infamous Queensbridge housing project in Long island city were Nas was raised. Always a fertile hip hop creative area, the neighbourhood that Marley Marl and MC Shan made famous on their 1986 release The Bridge now serves as a foundation foe Nas's universe of realness.

This DVD represents 10 years of Nas's rise to hip hp glory and is a must for fans of the genre.
