Gladiator Movie Review

Hop to

Having taken in excess of £3m at the UK box office, it's difficult to believe that anybody reading this review hasn't already seen Ridley Scott's magnificent Gladiator. Suffice to say, this historical action adventure movie works on every level. Scott directs with enough flair and imagination to make you forget that G.I. Jane ever happened, the cast is uniformly magnificent, the plot is well-developed and emotionally involving, and the superbly-staged fight sequences will quench anyone's taste for gore and brutality. History has never been this much fun.
