Picture

The animation for this series is an improvement on the earlier seasons, and on this DVD it looks very sharp indeed. Colours are rich and don't suffer from any blooming or bleeding. Edges look sharp without any signs of enhancement and a good deal of detail can be seen in this transfer. Animation always looks good on DVD and this is no exception. Presentation is full Screen.
Family Guy : Season Three

Sound

The 21 episodes are presented in Dolby 2.0 and each sound effective. There is little use of any surround information when watching in Pro-Logic 2 with all the action fixed squarely on the screen. Dialogue sounds natural and clear and music also sounds effective with good bass extension. There would be little use in having this TV series presented in 5.1, so what we get is more than adequate.
Family Guy : Season Three
One of the funniest TV series at the moment and highly recommended in this DVD presentation.
