Wild Things: Diamonds In The Rough DVD Review
    SRP: £15.48

    Picture

Wild Things 3, for a low budget film has a great look about it. The bright Floridian locations look lush and colourful. There is no bleeding evident in the bright sunshine or even in the dark poolside scenes. Skin tones are good especially for a film with plenty of flesh on display. All in all, a nice transfer but with only some trailers, subtitles and languages on the disc there is obviously plenty of room on the DVD for a decent visual presentation.

    Sound

Now the picture is good, so what is the sound like you may ask.....Not bad at all, I would say. Although a 5.1 mix, it is only the left, right and centre channels that get the majority of the sound throughout the film. The rears come to life around the hour mark where we are treated to some dramatic music, a highway chase and a few gunshots. Dialogue is clear and the sleazy musical score is mixed well into the soundtrack.

    Verdict

Although the score is low, Wild Things is an entertaining trashy thriller. Like I said above, the plot is exactly the same as the first two but for some reason I liked it. I wonder why?
