    The 13th Warrior Review

Banished from his homeland, a peaceful Arabian poet becomes the 13th warrior in a band of Vikings who have been tasked with destroying an apparently supernatural evil.
Based on Michael Crichton's novel Eaters Of The Dead, this movie had a troubled production history and doesn't seem to know whether it's an action-adventure, a horror film or what. Despite some gory battle sequences, the action really doesn't get moving and everything comes to a rather abrupt end. Occasionally spectacular-looking, but a dramatic failure.
