    Shaolin Soccer DVD Review
    SRP: £19.99

The transfer is definitely a commendable effort, but a grainy finish and the overuse of edge enhancement disappoints. Both versions are portrayed in the original anamorphic 1.85:1 aspect ratio, although the Chinese version has slightly warmer colour than the US one...
    Shaolin Soccer Picture

The Dolby Digital soundtrack is very good. Effects are regularly thrown around the room including environmental effects such as traffic coming in diagonally across the soundfield then diagonally across the screen itself. For big CGI effects (fireballs, Tao style mini tornados etc) the sound completely surrounds you and then heavily throws itself from back to front without overly blowing out the LFE channel.
    Shaolin Soccer Sound

None. And you would've thought with all those effects there would be some hilarious injuries to laugh at after the movie!!
    Shaolin Soccer Extras

    It really should've been better.
