Queen: Greatest Video Hits Volume One Review
This two-disc set comprises all the Queen videos from the seminal Bohemian Rhapsody through Killer Queen, Bicycle Race, Flash, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. The main selling point is the DTS 96/24 sound (the first time the format has been used on DVD) remixed by Brian May with astounding results, particularly on Bohemian Rhapsody. There's also a fine PCM stereo option. Many of the performance-based vids themselves are less impressive, as is the decision to present all the videos as 16:9 anamorphic, an aspect ratio for which they clearly were not shot. Extras are some live tracks with stereo sound, commentaries, gallery and featurettes.
