This is a very poor transfer. Throughout the whole movie the picture is littered with dust specks, the odd full-blown tear and various bits of dirt. Colour strength is notably bright under this mess, but no real effort has been made to clear up the image.

Dolby Digital 2.0 soundtrack just adds to the disappointing feature list with this disc. However the recording is rather good, dialogue is very clear and intelligible and the at times quite excellent Jazz soundtrack really did blast through the front channels well. Some panning effects across the front speakers is used but there is very little information thrown to the rears. For the large amount of scenes filmed in the rainy outdoors with the odd experimental camera angle, Dolby Digital could have been really well used here to add ambience to the movie experience. But as with everything else on this disc it just all felt cheap.

Extras are very limited - just a synopsis of the movie and a list of cast and crew. Unfortunately, despite the menu of the DVD being in English, the extra features are not.

    Not worth the effort.
