Men In Black II: Superbit Edition DVD Review
    SRP: £26.95

    Picture

The 1.85:1 Anamorphic transfer is very clean and well presented. Colours are strong and well saturated with no signs of bleeding or blooming, and blacks are solid and stable. There is plenty of fine detail on show, with skintones looking natural throughout. There are no signs of grain, dirt or edge enhancement present in the print which is clean and crisp throughout. Again the superbit transfer looks first rate.

    Sound

Once again we are treated to an over the top and aggressive soundmix, presented in dts and Dolby Digital. The track uses the entire soundfield to great effect with strong split surround and LFE effects, and is very dynamic indeed. Dialogue is strong and clear and the dts track again just pips the Dolby version for better overall clarity and a tighter and more natural bottom end.

    Extras

None here, this is a superbit release.

    Verdict

The second movie is not as strong as the original, but is still great family entertainment with excellent picture and sound quality.
