UH9500 Picture Quality FeaturesThe LG UH9500 boast the most advanced IPS display LG has created to date. It features new and refined technologies such as ‘True Black Panel,’ which is proprietary technology that minimises reflections and enhances contrast ratio for a more comfortable viewing experience. There’s also something called Contrast Maximiser on board that is engineered to give the impression of more depth and contrast by separating objects from their backgrounds. HDR Plus is the technology that enables the UH9500 to show 4K HDR content in conjunction with ULTRA Luminance processing. There’s even an SDR (Standard Dynamic Range)-to-HDR conversation engine. To enhance colour reproduction, LG’s ColorPrime Plus magnifies the range of colours that can be displayed on the screen. The technology utilizes a broadened colour spectrum to render a wider range of hues and shades. Another feature, Billion Rich Colors, uses the 10-bit panel and 10-bit processing power to give the UH9500 to render over one billion possible colours. And with support for BT.2020, the next-generation standard for broadcast and distribution, these TV models are pretty future-proof.
Smart TV and Other SpecsLGwebOS 3.0 offers three particular features: Magic Zoom, Magic Mobile Connection and an upgraded Magic Remote. Magic Zoom enables users to magnify objects and letters without any degradation in picture quality. And with Magic Mobile Connection, users can connect a mobile phone to their LG SMART TV via the LG TV Plus App on their mobile device to access mobile apps on the TV screen. The upgraded Magic Remote is designed to make controlling set-top boxes (STB) easier with the addition of buttons on the remote. The Screen Remote feature has also been redesigned to simplify the user interface for less clutter and more convenience.
