What is the Hisense 58K700?This 55-inch ultra HD 4K TV features a range of cutting-edge connectivity and Smart TV features. As well as the Ultra HD resolution, you also get quad-core processing, a wider colour range than conventional TVs and 3D capability built-in to an ultra-slim, silver design. At the time of publishing, the 655-inch Hisense K700 is available for around £999.00.
This is a preview of the upcoming 58K700 model and will be replaced with the full in-depth review as soon as we have measured and reviewed the final retail sample. In the meantime here is a run down of the features we can expect to see.
K700 Picture Quality FeaturesThe Ultra HD panel of the Hisense K700 displays 4x Full HD (1080p) resolution for an extra crisp image. This model also incorporates Hisense's local dimming technologies and sports HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 compatibility to keep you future-proofed. There's also HEVC decoding and 3D playback capability.
Smart TV and Other SpecsHisense has been working on reducing input lag for videogames and say they have shaved off eighty-percent off the latency since the product launched. Also, following launch, the BBC iPlayer was added to the roster of apps which already included 4K YouTube and Ultra HD Netflix. The 58K700 features a DVB-T2 (Freeview HD tuner) and a built-in media player with support for a wide range of file types. Those include JPG, BMP, PNG, GIF, MPO (3D), JPS (3D), photos; FLAC, MP2, MP3, OGG, WAV, WMA audio and AVI, WMV, ASF, MP4, MOV, MKV, MPG, MPEG, VOB, and FLV video files.
