    What is the Hisense 50K321?

This 50-inch 4K TV has a flat screen and silver trim and, at the time of publishing, is available online for around £500 so it's a budget Ultra HD telly. In addition to the UHD resolution, there is quad core processing as well, which helps drive the built-in Smart TV apps.

This is a preview of the upcoming 55K321 model and will be replaced with the full in-depth review as soon as we have measured and reviewed the final retail sample. In the meantime here is a run down of the features we can expect to see.

    K321 Picture Quality Features

The UHD resolution of the the K321 affords 4x the detail of Full HD TVs but this model doesn't feature a wider colour gamut nor does it support HDR video. There are HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 compliant ports, however, so you can connect 4K Blu-ray and media players, plus it's also capable of HEVC decoding. It should also be noted that the K321 doesn't provide 3D video processing.

    Smart TV and Other Specs

The 50-inch Hisense K321 has a built-in Freeview HD capable tuner from which you can record programmes to connected USB storage. There are built-in video apps including Ultra HD ones from YouTube. Netflix and Amazon plus HD BBC iPlayer . There's also a built-in media player with a wide range of formats playable.
