B.B. King: Blues Summit Concert DVD Review

    SRP: £19.99

    Picture

The 4:3 image whilst not up to today's standards of production is acceptable for witnessing this concert. The image is soft throughout and suffers from colour bleeding now and again but this doesn't detract too much from the viewing experience. The source is NTSC and the old saying of Never Twice the Same Colour seems to fit this production nicely. It is a must for fans of blues music, just don't expect todays standard of picture quality.

    Sound

Presented in Dolby 2.0 the audio track manages to convey a wide stereo image across the front channels. Dynamics are a little lacking but the sound stage gives an intimate feel and certainly won't spoil your enjoyment of the music on offer.
