Yamaha has announced a brand new line of AV Receivers with the new RX-V79 series.
For the first time ever, every single AV Receiver in the range will be wireless. The RX-V379 features Bluetooth on board with Yamaha’s own compressed music enhancer built in. This new enhancer aims to restore the former glory of your music and allow you to enjoy everything from Bowie to Beethoven at the quality you should expect.

The RX-V479 and above feature Bluetooth and WiFi inside the box as well as a hard wired connection. The WiFi & network connections will support the latest 802.11b/g/n wireless specification and the network chip inside will support Airplay, Spotify Connect, DLNA, playback of WAV, FLAV, AIFF, ALAC and DSD files and app control using Yamaha’s own AV Controller app for Android and iOS.

All of the new RX-V79 series supports the new HDCP 2.2 protocol, allowing early adopters of 4K technology to upgrade with confidence.

As always, Yamaha’s own unique DNA and special features are available across the range. Including ECO Mode, YPAO-RSC auto calibration, virtual presence speaker (VPS) and new virtual surround back speakers (VSBS), compressed music enhancer, subwoofer level adjustment, YPAO volume, SCENE control and a whole host of others.
