There are lots of ways to control your Xbox One.
In fact, Microsoft’s latest console is possibly the most versatile machine in existence when it comes to how you tell it what to do. You can instruct it by voice, with your hands, using a mobile device via SmartGlass and even using the good old controller.
But some folks hold no truck with all these new-fangled methods and it looks as though Microsoft is steeping up to cater to old-fashioned types.

Sometimes only a remote will do!
A listing on Amazon Canada was spotted for the Xbox Media Remote but it has subsequently been removed. Of course, thanks to Google’s Cache, it can’t stay hidden and we have to say it looks totally legit.
There are details of the functionality it affords but, naturally, it features all your usual playback transport controls, an Xbox button for taking you to the home-screen and sundry other options. Whether it will feature a microphone for the option of voice control remains to be seen but it wouldn’t surprise us if it did.
The device is/was listed at CDN$ 24.99, which translates to just under £14 but we should probably expect something more like a £20 price-tag if and when it makes its way to the UK.
The Canadian – and presumably US – launch is set for March 4th, according to the listing.
