As we take a look at some of the major content coming to Netflix UK, it’s always worth bearing in mind that although we’ve tried to be as UK specific as possible, streaming dates can change, content can sometimes be territory specific and shows can even get changed by Netflix itself.

Make sure you come back too as we’ll be updating the article when more films and TV shows get announced.

Little do they know that they'll be going on a whirlwind adventure around Los Angeles, that will bring the family closer to each other than ever before.

Based upon the children's book of the same name by Amy Krouse Rosenthal and Tom Lichtenheld, Yes Day has a premise (and title) thematically close enough to Jim Carrey’s Yes Man to get a lawyer’s litigation nerve twitching suggestively but far away enough temporally (Yes Man was 2008) to have the urge pass after a sit down and a cup of tea.

Sky Rojo (2021, S1, Netflix Original Series. International: Spain)

Crime drama which sees exotic dancers Coral, Wendy and Gina go on the run in search of freedom while being chased by Romeo, their pimp, and his henchmen. Comedy series following the exploits of Det. Jake Peralta and his diverse, quirky colleagues as they police the NYPD's 99th Precinct. Season 7 starts with Captain Holt struggling with his demotion to beat duties and Jake and Amy thinking about starting a family.

Initially a Fox property, Brooklyn Nine Nine suffered from cancellation after 5 seasons and was resurrected by NBC (who had initially passed on the very first run) following fans' social media outcry. The upcoming eighth season was recently announced as the last and the final set of 10 episodes will bring the much loved comedy show to an end. Season 8 won't premiere before 2022 since it has been largely re-written to reflect society’s concerns over police brutality with four ready-to-go episodes ditched.

Showrunner Dan Goor released a statement: "Ending the show was a difficult decision, but ultimately, we felt it was the best way to honour the characters, the story and our viewers. I know some people will be disappointed it’s ending so soon, but honestly, I’m grateful it lasted this long. Title of my sex tape.”
