Vestel’s TV Smart Centre remote app is now available to download for fifty of its European TV brands allowing additional, convenient control from smartphones.

European owners of TVs from Vestel’s large portfolio of models, including its more premium brands, will now be able to experience extra features when viewing content with the launch of its TV Smart Centre app.

Available as a free download for iOS and Android mobile devices, the new remote TV app offers more personalised control, as well as convenient and fast access to TV listings, apps, and screen share functions.

The TV Smart Centre app is split into five sections: Home, Guide, Remote, Applications, and Settings for ease of navigation, Vestron says.

The Home screen itself features a dashboard which offers genre, cast and synopsis information for up to thirty programmes and films, with the ‘Primetime’ and ‘For You’ sections highlighting upcoming programmes and those scheduled further ahead.

There are a host flexible, and customisable viewing options and single taps of the appropriate buttons can record or set a reminder for a favourite TV series or mirror saved videos, music and photos from smartphones.

The 'Follow Me TV' option is also available from the Home screen, enabling users to tune into live TV content on any connected mobile device from anywhere within range of the user’s home Wi-Fi network.

There’s also a 4-way D-pad and a power button to switch the TV on.

The Guide section offers more personalised control and flexibility with further access to the screen mirroring button and the 'Follow Me TV' function, along with the latest TV listings with the 'What’s on TV' section. Finally, the Apps screen gives one-click access to all the streaming apps available on user's Smart TVs, including Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and YouTube as well as Rakuten, Twitch, Amazon Music, YouTube Kids and Red Bull TV.
