OEM TV manufacturer Vestel has introduced the Red Bull TV app to its smart TVs across Europe.
Among the largest producers of entry level LED and Smart TVs in Europe, including those for Panasonic and Hitachi as well as a fully specified range of its brand licence Toshiba models, Vestel has now launched Red Bull TV on more than twenty brands under its umbrella. The app is available free of charge for owners of all Vestel-manufactured smart and Android TV ranges produced from June 2018 onwards.
Viewers will have a front row seat to the Red Bull Channel’s global library of live events, sports, music and lifestyle/culture content including its unbranded original programming.
There are no paywalls or adverts and the channel helpfully categorises its mix of content into clearly defined channels, such as adventure, culture, music, biking and water sports for ease of navigation.
The app will allow viewers to experience the latest gaming tournaments, dance competitions, live concerts such as Lollapalooza, as well as sports events including the Mercedes-Benz UCI MTB World Cup and the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. Moreover, there’s access to exclusive films, shows and documentaries including long-format original programming series such as Sky Trippers, an aerial adventure of three friends piloting their paramotors through Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia.

Vestel Smart TVs come in 55-, 60- and 65-inch screen sizes, with ultra-slim bezels, and 178-degree viewing angles, while Vestel 4K HDR Smart TVs and premium OLED 4K HDR Smart TVs will support the Red Bull videos filmed in 4K HDR.
Image quality is optimised through dynamic contrast ratio with Micro Dimming, and Full HD and HD video is upscaled to 4K. Meanwhile, Vestel TV’s Sports Mode uses MEMC (Motion Estimation Motion Compensation) motion blur reduction to give Red Bull’s fast sporting action a smooth and crisp look.
The company’s 4K HDR Smart TVs also offer an immersive audio performance with Dolby Atmos-powered integrated speakers helping recreate the atmosphere of live sporting events with compatible content.
The Red Bull Channel also appears on Pluto TV and Apple TV.
