Sky+ is being updated to bring lots of improvements to the features in the Sky Guide.
This latest update follows on from last year's largest ever overhaul to the EPG and is more tweaking and fine tuning but it does bring some worthwhile, and needed, improvements.
Planner improvements
Recent recordings and downloads will be moving to the top of the All tab. Your upcoming recordings will be found in the new Scheduled tab, alongside your Smart Series Links.
You can also now delete a whole series stack in one go by pressing the yellow button to Delete All.
Sky Movies & Sky Store improvements
Browsing the range of movies available to Sky Movies and Sky Store customers has also been made simpler. Sky will gradually be introducing theatrical trailers playing in full screen rather than in the Mini TV, just press the red button when you see a filmstrip icon. DVD cover art will also be added to the All list for both Sky Movies & Sky Store.

Other improvements
• Accessibility: Sky has worked with RNIB to develop a new Increase Contrast and Font Size setting that changes the display of the Sky Guide, making it easier to navigate if you have any difficulties with your vision.
• Family Setting: Activate the four most common parental controls with the new Family Setting under the Parental tab in Services.
• New & Recommended tab re-order: Showcase is now the first tab in the New & Recommended menu, followed by New Series then Suggestions.
Sky will be updating all compatible Sky+HD boxes in batches over the next few weeks, but check your model number so you can find out when/if to expect yours.
