Sky offering free WiFi Booster to broadband customers
For a limited time only Sky is offering its broadband customers – yes even existing ones – a free WiFi booster.
The offer began today and runs up until the 30th of December so why bookmark http://www.sky.com/products/kit/wireless-booster/ now before you forget amongst all the festive shenanigans? New customers will need to sign up today to be eligible and claims for the box can be put in from the 27th December.

Sky says the device is designed to work best with the Sky Hub and other Sky Wireless 'N' routers and of course suggests, that if you’re yet to upgrade to one of those, now might just be the time but it has to be worth a punt, regardless.

Sky says the Booster is capable of double the range of the competing hubs provided by TalkTalk, Virgin Media and BT Unlimited Broadband, although those claims can’t be substantiated at the moment.
    Redressing the balance
We did criticise SKY for not offering its existing On Demand customers a similar box of tricks for their non-WiFi capable PVR’s, when new customers were entitled, so we should congratulate them for their largesse this time around.
